I think within a 2 or 4 mile radius. At least they used to...
There is no street parking available. The parking lot in the alley way is designated for restaurant parking.
Yes also you could order online
The food and customer service are always GREAT!!🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Wanted to try this place since it was close to my house and I was still on my thai food kick and they did not disappoint either. Food was fresh and tasty I will definitely retun soon
excellent food excellent service, try the deep fried snapper
I love! This place! Sorry, I got so excited, I couldn't even complete my sentence properly! This food is fresh! If you're looking for a quick and yummy bite to eat, look no further. The ambiance of the restaurant is relaxing. The view is spectacular. The attentiveness of the staff is remarkable. Will definitely be back to try some more food!
Pleasant staff. Nice variety of good tasting food. My family had grandsons birthday dinner here a few years ago.
Great service. I've gotten take out here a few times in the food is delicious.
It's ok. Food is tasty. Price is Mid range. Will go back there.
There is not a bad dish on the menu. You will not be disappointed.
I’ve only been here once, but the food was excellent in taste and quality that I’m confident the rest of the menu is just as good. I had the salmon and sweet potato curry dish. Then the mango sticky rice. Salmon was cooked properly; no raw taste yet also not dry. There was juiciness to it. Same with the potatoes. The sauce was slightly chalky from a tad too much curry but not too distracting from the overall flavor. The only knock I have, and it’s minor, is the number of pin bones in the food. I don’t know if this is a recurring issue, as if done properly all bones can be easily removed in one go.
Not the best drunken noodles ever, but it was still good. However, it was very overpriced. I'm not sure about the service as I got it to go.
I visit this place a lot since I work right next to it. I have to say the service is always excellent and they keep the spot neat at all times. Pricing is reasonable and they serve large portions.
I am not a fan of Thai food, but this place proves that Thai food can be absolutely delicious. I have seen and been in fancier looking Thai restaurants but none of them compare when it comes to their food. Customer service is always great. The location is in a horrible place, but if that keeps the food at a reasonable cost and tasting amazing then I dont mind the location at all.
Yes. I have been eating Thia food for the last 2 days and they deliver and take cash and theirThia Tea is the Boom.Thank you for understanding my banking challenge.
For the curry puffs alone!!!! You get four per order not two like some establishments. Would be a Five Star but the service could be better. I enjoyed what I ordered.
Food was too sugary sweet for my parents and I. Very americanized take on thai food I guess. Good calamari, though.
Best Thai I've had in a long time. Will return real soon
When you can dine in food and presentation is above average. Takeout is still wonderful.
Bland and below average even compared to its many Americanized Thai competitors on the Hill. The drunken noodles had no flavor or heat. The Siam fried rice tasted like dishwater — we threw away most of it. And all of the food seemed less than fresh. My wife actually considered making dinner herself after the takeout order arrived. The sampler appetizer platter was the best of the order, but we wouldn’t return for that. I might give it more than one star but this place is rated too high on Google and should be knocked down a peg.
Pineapple fried rice is very good with chicken and shrimp. They mixed the basil in it too. Delicious!
Great food, friendly service!
Quality fresh food products and appropriate spices and herbs. Food portions good. Clean and comfortable table sitting. Wait time for carryout is adequate. Customer service is good
The place has an odd smell, like moldy or old dishwater water. Pad Thai was really good, the beef salad wasn’t great. There was a giant roach walking across the floor while we were eating. Anyone one of these things by themselves would be ok but all together it’s not great.
Service was attentive, kind and quick. A hidden gem, for sure.
I like this SE community based restaurant. I love the shrimp and vegetable tempura. I tried the drunken noodles but it was not for me. The egg rolls are delicious. Worth trying.
7 of us ate here we all said delicious
Awesome service and many amazing menu options!
Good is good but the Tilapia was old and the crab was too. I love the Salmon fried rice. The service is great but owner talks to much while you are eating be ware of that if dining in
I enjoyed it a LOT. The fried tofu appetizer was like almost a whole block of tofu! Soo much food! Good value. I got the basil fried rice with tofu and added pineapple. I will be back!
Friendly personel and good food.
Never mind that you can't dine in right now. Takeout is still amazing!
My favorite Thai Restaurant in Washington DC, the food is excellent the customer service is immaculate and the owners are so friendly and inviting. Nice cozy dining room area also.
First time here. .the food is amazing good. .had the sample patter which is great. .and the sauce or on point and the customer service was really nice. .will be going again. .it's a little known spot it's worth founding
My wife and I normally come here for carryout but today we decided to dine-in. And just as I thought the food was still good!! LOL
Great place to eat, good customer service, clean place, good food, kids will enjoy
Lots of great authentic Thai cooking on the side of town. Sometimes the kitchen is inconsistent but when they are on, it is great.
Flies friendly happening but maybe with cultural hospitality can compensate.
Thai orchid's kitchen holds the Thai food crown in Washington, DC. There is no competition. I could list my favorite food, however this review would never stop. Whether it's pad see ew, fried rice or panang curry - the food is consistently good. It is a perfect place to carry out or sit in.Every time I have a guest in town I take them to Thai orchid. Most of them say that this is the best Thai food that they have ever tasted. I have to agree!
Best spot to get some food when in a rush. Their customer service is prompt, prices are convenient, awesome mood. Would recommend to others
Damn good noodles. I will be back. A lil pricey
Former 5 star in my book for the best Thai food in the city. Great prices and wonderful people. The food quality has gone down too much, but I'll keep trying them since they have always had different cooks with slightly different tasting dishes. Who knows, maybe the taste will make it back.
Great food and very nice service
Tasty standard Thai dishes, WONDERFUL service. A few less standard specials, but everything was wonderful and tasty. Server was wonderful, saw us enjoying the heat from the dishes and offered to bring us drinks. Papaya salad could use more heat, but still had wonderful flavor.Updatr: July 2020, food is still delicious and since I am outside of their delivery zone, came by for some take out and they have a great, simple set up to keep everyone safe. So glad I stopped by, it was so worth it and glad they are making it work.
Very nice people. The chicken Pad Thai was outstanding !!!
Got the tempura vegetables it was everything loved it.
Excellent food!! And all the chain service.
I can get behind a restaurant that has good reviews and is across the river. That's why my wife surprised me by taking me here on a date night. We are huge fans of Thai food and have exhausted the good Thai options in DC. This place has great ratings so we had to try it out.I wish I could give this place a 5 star rating, but I promised to always be honest. There is more than enough seating here, but the atmosphere does NOT encourage you to stay. Since it was empty when we went, I assume no one stays to use the tables. When my wife and I walked it, it was not clear how to order. After waiting for a few minutes, the owner came out and was then SUPER helpful. He is really nice! The food was normal Thai food. Nothing to write home about. I always get green curry and I think the best I've had in DC is Regent Thai in NW or Sanphan Thai on Pennsylvania Ave in Eastern Market.
Unexpected nice and cozy restaurant. Parking on the side. Well maintained, clean, and comfortable for dine in. It was a nice surprise in the neighborhood!
Salmon and crab fried rice taste fresh and taste amazing... so good i had to write a review 🤤 HUGE portions it literally took me three days to finish it all.
It's okay. You get to enjoy Thai food while engaging in community affairs. They hold a lot of meetings there on Monday nights about what's going on in the community, city, and changes that will be made.
Most definitely the best Asian food I’ve ever had! Drunken spaghetti was top notch. The sampler appetizer was beyond fulfilling. The food was worth every penny, I’ll most definitely be returning.
